GBM joins Griffin as a coach, makes a return to the LCK

On the 16th of December KST, Griffin announced on its social media that Lee “GBM” Chang-seok has joined the team as a coach.

Renowned for his skills as well as his entertaining personality, GBM has previously competed in the LCK as mid laner for CJ Entus and Jin Air Greenwings. He left Korea at the end of 2015 to pursue a career overseas with the LCS and the TCL.

With this news, GBM will be transitioning his role from a professional player to a coach.

GBM joins the existing coaching staff of Griffin, which includes Byun “Chaos” Young-sub, and former Jin Air Greenwings coach Han “H-Dragon” Sang-yong. The coaching staff will now look to continue Griffin’s previous success in the LCK, as the team has attended three LCK finals in a row.
