Hanwha Life Esports announced on the 11th of November that they have signed Son “Kezman” Dae-young as head coach.
Described in the official announcement as “a strategist with the operational strength of LCK and the bold aggression of the LPL”, Kezman has been part of multiple teams that have made it to World Championship before, including I May and Royal Never Give Up.
Hanwha Life Esports has been making significant changes in this year’s offseason. Following the departure of their head coach Kang “OnAir” Hyun-jong, they have let go of multiple players, including Park “Thal” Kwon-hyuk, Kim “bonO” Gi-beom, Kim “Moojin” Moo-jin, and Kim “key” Han-gi. Their team captain Gwon “Sangyoon” Sang-yun has also announced retirement from professional play, hinting a major rebuilding for their roster.
With Kezman leading the team, it is to be seen what additional changes Hanwha Life will bring in the future.
