On the 6th of December KST, KT Rolster announced the signing of Kuro, Ray, SoHwan, Malrang and bonO for the 2020 LCK season. They will be joining Aiming and TusiN, who was already announced as the team’s bottom lane for next year.
Lee “Kuro” Seo-haeng has previously competed in the LCK with ROX Tigers and Afreeca Freecs. In 2019, Kuro opted to leave Korea in favor of playing for Bilibili Gaming in the LPL, finishing in 4th place of the league. He has now returned to play as the mid laner for the newly rebuilt KT Rolster.
Jeon “Ray” Ji-won is a top laner that had experience playing in both the LCS and LPL, for Cloud9 and EDward Gaming respectively. He has a significant amount of international experience, having made it to Worlds with both aforementioned teams.
Kim “SoHwan” Jun-yeong is a former top laner for Hanwha Life Esports and Jin Air Greenwings. Notably, he first made his debut into professional play on an international stage, against LCS’s Counter Logic Gaming in IEM San Jose.
Kim “Malrang” Geun-seong is a jungler first came to the LCK when his team, Ever8 Winners, was promoted to the league in the 2017 Summer split. He played alongside notable talents including Cepted, who went on to be the substitute mid laner for FunPlus Phoenix, and Kiin, currently playing for Afreeca Freecs and considered to be one of the best top laners in Korea.
Kim “bonO” Gi-beom has been the starting jungler for Hanwha Life Esports this year. While he showed inconsistent plays throughout the season, he also showed flashes of brilliance for HLE in the early game.
