KeSPA announces the 1st round rosters for the 2020 LCK Spring Split: Lonely joins Sandbox Gaming as their new top laner, Griffin’s mid laner Rather transitions to coaching role

KeSPA has announced the 1st round roster for the League of Legends Champions Korea 2020 Spring today.

Some of the teams have made changes to their lineup after the conclusion of the 2019 KeSPA Cup. Sandbox Gaming had completed their 10 men roster with the addition of Han “Lonely” Gyu-joon as their new top laner. With the addition of Son “Ucal” Woo-hyeon to their lineup, Griffin saw their mid laner Shin “Rather” Hyeong-seop transition to a coaching role.

DragonX is notably the only team to have registered one coaching staff for their lineup, their head coach Kim “cvMax” Dae-ho. The team has also promoted their trainee mid laner, Song “Quad” Su-hyeong, to the main roster.

Multiple name changes are evident. Afreeca Freecs saw two players change their IGN, with Lee “Brook” Jang-hoon changing his to “Honn”, Seo “SSol” Jin-sol to “SS” and Kim “SSUN” Tae-yang to “All iN”. Griffin’s support player Jeong “Kabbie” Sang-hyeon now goes by Irove instead.

Below are the rosters. The way the players are listed does not indicate who is starting. Orange nicknames are new additions made by the teams since their last submitted roster lineup.
