Gen.G announced on their official Twitter account the signing of Yoon “SeongHwan” Seong-hwan to their main roster. He will start playing for them in 2019 LCK Summer split. He is expected to share the role with Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, the current jungler of Gen.G Esports.

Known for his aggressive playstyle and his signature picks Jarvan IV and Sejuani, SeongHwan first debuted for Afreeca Freecs in 2016. SeongHwan then played in Hanwha Life Esports until he became a free agent at the end of 2018. After a short stint with Beşiktaş Esports in the TCL, SeongHwan has now returned to the LCK under the Gen.G banner. With Gen.G’s performance in 2019, having finished the LCK spring split in 7th place, the organization looks to bounce back from the team’s results in the summer split.
