SeongHwan debuted in the LCK in the 2016 Spring Split, making his name known for his aggressive plays and signature Elise pick. SeongHwan later transferred to ROX Tigers, a team that re-branded to Hanwha Life Esports in 2018 April.
At the beginning of the 2019 Spring Split, SeongHwan did not join a team and took a break, becoming a regular streamer on AfreecaTV. In a recent announcement, SeongHwan said that “Streaming wasn’t as easy as I had thought…I will be making a return to professional gaming sooner than anticipated.”
