On 13th of June, Invictus Gaming announced that the team’s mid-laner, Song “Rookie” Eui-jin will be taking a temporary hiatus.
On the team’s official Weibo account, the team announced that Rookie will be taking a break from the matches due to health issues within the family. Rookie has flown back to South Korea and will be missing the next LPL match. iG announced that the team will be starting the team’s substitute mid laner, Deng “Forge” Jie.
It is not yet known how long Rookie will be absent from LPL matches.
