Griffin finished the first round with a perfect 9 match victories. The only game that Griffin ever dropped was against SANDBOX Gaming.
The previous record was held was by the 2015 iteration of SK Telecom T1, who finished the first round robin of LCK 2015 Summer Split 18-2. Many comparisons are being drawn between the 2015 SKT and Griffin, for their dominance in the LCK. The new record pushes Griffin one step closer to the legendary legacy of 2015 SKT.
