On the 19th of November KST, Tyler Erzberger on the ESPN LOL Free Agency stream announced that T1 has extended the contract of Lee “Effort” Sang-ho, the team’s starting support player, on a two-year contract.

Effort became the primary starting player for T1 during the 2019 Summer Split, overtaking Mata for stage time during this period. He went on to win his first-ever championship in the same split and made his first appearance in the World Championship this year. T1 concluded their 2019 Season at the semifinals of the 2019 World Championship.
