We will be meeting with Teddy, who has won his recent match against Team Liquid. Congratulations on your victory! After the disappointing loss yesterday, you have started the day off with a victory against TL. Can you tell us how you are feeling?
Teddy: Since this is our first match, I am glad we able to finish the game cleanly.
You said you were able to bring out clean performance last game. Can you tell us what sort of feedbacks were given before the match?
Teddy: Instead of feedback regarding the last match, we weren’t quite sure about our bottom lane champions recently, with an unclear priority tier list. After losing last night, we were able to get that tier list sorted out and show good performance today.
We saw a more bottom lane centric playstyle, with Clid focusing a lot on the bottom lane. Can you tell us what kind of strategies were carried out there?
Teddy: We decided to pick a bottom lane that can grab lane priority for ourselves, and then our jungler will focus on the bottom lane, go for 3v3 fights and snowball leads from there.
The XP gap between Doublelift and you were quite huge. Did you know that?
Teddy: Yes I did.
How did you feel?
Teddy: Well, he was put behind by quite a bit in the early game. But because I was surprised that the XP gap was that big, that I actually felt sorry for him.
An amazing thing to note is that if you add up the years of each TL players’ career, the total is over 40 years. How did it feel, going against these very experienced pros?
Teddy: Because we were very ahead from the start in the bottom lane, I didn’t think of ‘experience’ as a factor at the time.
Your next match [against G2 Esports] is quite important. Do you have any words before the match?
Teddy: Last time, in the opening match, we lost to G2 Esports without putting up much of a fight. This time, we have prepared extensively and will make sure to perform well.
