At midnight 12th of November, Season 8 came to close in Korean Server of League of Legends.
The hero of the day was Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong, the jungler of Griffin. Tarzan placed his main account, “타 짠” (Tarzzan) on the first place of Korean Solo Q. Tarzan also placed his two sub accounts, “타 잔” (Tarzan) and “난 질수없다” (I cannot lose) in 5th place and 12th place respectively.
Tarzan had impressive win rates on his main account, “타 짠”. He recorded 74% win rate on Taliyah, 71% on Camille and 71% on Nocturne.
After his first place on Korean Server for Season 8, Tarzan jumped on a call with Ha “Bitdol” Kwang-suk, on Bitdol’s personal stream on Afreeca TV. In the call, Tarzan said: “I thought it was going to be a close call but then the second place jungler [JUGKING] suffered a few loses. Instead of playing my own games, I lurked and spectated his games, because it was safer to secure my placement.”
“Last year, I was also in the race for the first place in the season; however, my first place got stolen by Deft. I lost some games last minute and came very close behind.”
As of on his team, Griffin, Tarzan said, “We are working and practising hard in our team house. Also, we are planning to go on a team workshop to Phuket for five nights, seven days.” Tarzan added, “We are practising hard to show good performance at next season.”
