On 13th of February, Kwon “Sangyoon” Sang-yoon made history by landing his 1000th kill of his LCK career.
Sangyoon landed his 1000th in the second game against Gen.G Esports on his signature champion Ashe. Sangyoon achieved this feat in the 5th year of his career. The AD carry first debuted for Rebels Anarchy, which re-branded to Afreeca Freecs in 2015. In 2016, Sangyoon transferred to the ROX Tigers which would later re-brand to Hanwha Life Esports, becoming the LCK team’s “franchise star”.
Sangyoon is now the 8th player to achieve such a feat in the LCK, after Faker, PraY, Bang, Score, Kuro, Smeb and Ambition. He is the third AD carry player to reach 1000 kills in LCK.
