Sandbox Gaming announced on the 13th of November that they have mutually agreed to part ways with their bot laner Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun.
Ghost began his professional career as a substitute player for CJ Entus. He went on to start for ESC Ever in 2017, who rebranded to bbq Olivers.
After poor results with bbq Olivers, having been relegated from the LCK, Ghost joined Sandbox Gaming for the 2019 season, with whom he found his first real success, making it to playoffs for the first time in his career.
Sandbox Gaming, a recently promoted LCK team, has made it to playoffs in both Spring and Summer split, finishing in 5th and 4th place respectively. They concluded their season in the Regional Qualifiers, where they failed to qualify for Worlds after their loss to DragonX.
