On the 5th of November, DragonX made an announcement that they have signed Kim “cvMax” Dae-ho to their roster as head coach.
cvMax is notable for having led LCK team Griffin for the past two years, having been part of the young roster’s three consecutive Finals appearance during their short time in the LCK. However, cvMax and Griffin parted ways each other just days before the start of the 2019 World Championship and was not part of Griffin’s first-ever Worlds run.
DragonX, formerly known as Kingzone DragonX, had failed to make it to playoffs last split, but was able to make it far in the Regional Qualifiers, having been denied the third seed for the 2019 World Championship by Damwon Gaming after a close 5-game series. With the addition of a proven leader, DragonX looks to come back strong in their next LCK season.

The first signing of DRX is cvMax who will take the role as a pathfinder.
Until the day we become the LoL Worlds champion for three times in a row,
